The campsite at Hólar is one of the most interesting campsites in Iceland due to the long history and the beautiful nature. The campsite is surrounded by forest which gives great shelter and a cozy atmosphere.
There are many hiking trails around Hólar, both for a short stroll as well as longer hikes. Hólar Cathedral is a popular tourist attraction and The Icelandic Horse History Centre is another.
